2012 Meaningful Use Qualifying Window is Closing.

Healthcare providers are eligible for up to $18,000 the first year, $44,000 overall, for using ARRA/HITECH certified electronic health records.  Providers wanting to qualify in 2012 must select, implement, and begin certification reporting no later than October 3, 2012.

Nonprofit organizations with providers working on behalf of the organization, can qualify for up to $63,000 overall with a first year payment of $21,250 per provider.

Unifi-Med Receives ONC-ATCB Meaningful Use Certification by Drummond Group

BEND, Ore., March 15, 2012// --- Unifi-Med v. 5.4 has received full Ambulatory EHR Certification deeming the electronic health record (EHR) software capable of enabling providers to meet the Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Tested and certified under the Drummond Group's Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) program, Unifi-Med’s EHR software is 2011/2012 compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
